I am currently pursuing a Computer Science and Engineering Degree at UNR. I have a lot of experience in Web Development, Data Structures, C++, and JavaScript. I love designing apps and solving problems that make no sense.

In 6th grade Computer class, I would always use inspect element to change my typing speed to be 999 wpm to flex on my classmates, I have always been interested Computer Science & Web Development.
The quality I love most about myself is my integrity. I'm always trying to be a better person than I was the day before, and doing hard work is what drives me to keep improving!
My favorite language is C++ because even though it's complicated, it's syntax just really clicks with me!

Featured Project
This project is a Grocery Shopping Cart for Trader Joe's, a popular grocery store. I used Puppeteer Web Scraper to efficiently extract, record, and store all of their products on their websites into my MongoDB database. I built a Backend API, using a Express server to communicate data and request between the React Frontend & Backend of the application.

Here's a collection of personal & collaborative project's I have worked on. Many of these projects were inspired by wanting to solve a problem for myself or my friends and family around me. I have leveraged ChatGPT on some of these projects to assist with planning, debugging, and developing for a smooth UI/UX experience for people who use the programs I create.
Just-Weather Forecast
Weather Forecast
This is a Weather app that shows the temperature, humidity, windspeed, UV levels and Sunrise/Sunset times by integrating Openweathermap and Weather API. It uses Google maps API for a auto-fill feature!
This is one of the first projects I ever built. Completing this project introduced me to the concept of REST API's and gave me practice with Node.js, JavaScript, and using API keys.

This project is a simple TODO list using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It uses localStorage to save user data between sessions!
This project is a tutorial I followed from freecodecamp, it introduced me to localStorage use cases, and how CRUD operations are used in lists.

Password Manager
This project is a Password Manager I built to save myself some time. Using C++ and OpenSSL for encrypting passwords, and a Hashmap Data Structure for efficiently organizing passwords.
This project introduced me to encryption, salting, and hashing. It also gave me practice of OOP principles, and brushed me up on utilizing CRUD operations!

C++ Battleship Game
This project is a terminal based Battleship game. It uses C++ and OOP principles to encapsulate complex game logic into two main classes, Human Player, and Computer Player.
This project really tested my object oriented programming skills, it helped me look at the relationship between different components of game logic, and reminded me of validating user input process.

This project is portfolio for a Esthetician's business. It uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Express, and Node.js to accept client reviews and send them to a MongoDB database.
This project helped me solidfy how the basics of interacting between the frontend and backend on a website works, and how to send request with form data.
WebsitePomodoro
Pomodoro
This project is inspired off of many other pomodoro timers. It uses react useState, useEffect, and pure components to make a customizable pomodoro timer! It also includes a to do and task list that displays your current task on the timer. The task are also draggable!
This project gave me a lot of experience working with dragging components in react, it also gave me practice with crud operations, and counting systems.
